Parent Information
Dear Parents / Carers

Welcome to NeneGate School. We are a mixed Special School offering education for students 8 -16 years old with Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties (SEMH).

We pride ourselves on the excellent relationships we build with our parents and carers. Our aim is to ensure that parents/ carers feel valued, they are trusted and they are respected. The needs of the student’s come first and this will form the basis of our communication.  We aim to provide a happy, stimulating, supportive, secure and positive environment which is high in expectation and which creates a strong feeling of community. To provide a broad and balanced education based on the National Curriculum. To ensure pupils in all key stages will receive age appropriate, relevant, curricular opportunities and experiences, which will reflect and respect differing developmental levels. To promote equality of opportunity to maximise pupil potential, academically, morally, socially and emotional.
We operate an open door policy at school, that welcomes parents / carers. We are here to support both students’ needs as well as parent’s / carers needs.

Our job is to help your child achieve the very best they can whilst they are at NeneGate School and together with your help, we will enable our students to achieve their full potential.
