About The School

About The School

NeneGate opened in January 2008. It is a maintained school for pupils currently aged between 8 and 16 who have Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties (SEMH).

Pupils attend from all over the local area

The school is set in the heart of Peterborough and local amenities are easily accessible to the children who attend, therefore there are regular off site activities for work experience and class trips.

The school is well equipped; all classrooms are equipped with an interactive whiteboard and computers, and many lessons are taught using this technology. There are also specialist teaching rooms for ICT, Art, DT, PE, Science and Food Technology.

In addition we have a school hall and large gym. The grounds allow for a range of sporting activities and outdoor learning.

All pupils who attend this school have an EHCP plan
