Meet The Governors

Meet The Governors

On behalf of the governing board of NeneGate School we would like to offer you a warm welcome to the governors’ section of the school website.

Governors work closely with the Headteacher and senior staff to ensure our school continues to meet its high standards offering outstanding quality of care and education in a safe and secure environment.

Our governors have a wealth of specialist knowledge in the fields of health, finance, business, education and social care.  This enables us to hold the school to account and set its strategic direction, thus demonstrating good governance.  The governors are highly committed to NeneGate's success.  The governors give their time and expertise on a voluntary basis and are willing to do so because the pupils and staff are such a joy to work with.  We are looking forward to our future challenges with enthusiasm and creativity.

Our role is very rewarding because we are invited to attend the end of term assemblies, Christmas festivals, as well as supporting Macmillan Coffee Mornings and the other charitable events that we host.  We meet many parents and carers and we are always happy to hear from you.  If you would like to be involved with the governing body or become involved we are always looking for people to help make a difference.  Please get in touch with the school if you are interested in becoming a school governor.
