Welcome to our school!
Head Teacher’s Welcome
Welcome to NeneGate School. We are a Special School offering education for students aged 9 -16 years old with Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties (SEMH).
We pride ourselves on a holistic and flexible approach to education, under pinned by consistent principles, with respect for oneself, others and the environment at the heart of our philosophy.
Our aim is to place the needs of our students first and to provide a happy, nurturing, engaging, secure and inspiring environment, which allows individual students to aim high and follow a broad and balanced curriculum appropriate to their needs. We have expertise in delivering a wide range of individual learning programmes which, as well as including National Curriculum subjects, also include plenty of opportunities for outdoor and practical learning, as well as personal, social and emotional development.
We value the relationships we have built within this community and our aim is to ensure that students, parents and staff all feel valued, respected and trusted. We place a high premium on equality of opportunity in order to maximise our students’ potential.
We want our students to be happy, well-informed, responsible young people who are ready to progress onto the next stage of their education and make a positive contribution to the wider community. We are always happy to see parents of existing and potential students and welcome visitors to our school.
If you would like to come and see us then please get in touch to arrange a visit.
